Terms & Conditions of Trade

1. Service Agreement

By booking a service with RexClean (referred to as “we”, “us”, or “our”), you (“the customer” or “you”) agree to the following terms and conditions.

2. Bookings & Access

  • Bookings are subject to availability and are not confirmed until you receive written confirmation.

  • It is your responsibility to ensure safe and timely access to the property at the agreed date and time.

  • Missed appointments or delayed access of more than 15 minutes may result in cancellation and a call-out fee.

3. Quotations & Pricing

  • Quotes are valid for 14 days unless otherwise stated.

  • All quotes are subject to on-site assessment and may be revised if the condition, size, or access differs from what was described.

  • RexClean reserves the right to decline any job or adjust pricing accordingly.

4. Payment Terms

  • Full payment is due upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • We accept cash, card, or bank transfer. Late payments may incur a 10% administrative fee after 7 days.

  • In commercial cases, payment terms will be outlined in the invoice and may vary by agreement.

5. Cancellation & Rescheduling

  • We require at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.

  • Failure to provide adequate notice may result in a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the agreed price.

  • RexClean reserves the right to reschedule appointments due to operational demands, equipment failure, or weather-related safety concerns.

6. Customer Responsibilities

To ensure safe and effective service, you agree to:

  • Provide access to water, electricity, and parking if required.

  • Remove delicate or valuable items from treatment areas in advance.

  • Notify us in writing of any stains, damage, known defects, or pre-existing treatments (e.g. stain guards, sealants, etc.).

  • Ensure that pets and children are kept clear of the work area.

7. Liability & Limitations

  • While we take all reasonable care during our service, RexClean accepts no liability for pre-existing damage, wear, or unseen issues (e.g. subfloor dampness, weak seams, or fibre instability).

  • We are not liable for any adverse effects resulting from undeclared chemical treatments, delicate fabrics, unstable dyes, or incompatible materials.

  • RexClean’s total liability shall be limited to the value of the service provided.

  • We may refuse to clean an item if we believe doing so may cause damage or create risk.

8. Service Outcomes

  • While we aim to achieve the best possible result, no guarantee is made regarding the complete removal of stains, odours, or discolouration.

  • Results may vary based on fabric type, age, condition, and prior contamination or treatments.

  • Drying times are estimates and may be affected by ventilation, humidity, and material.

9. Use of Chemicals & Cleaning Methods

  • RexClean uses professional-grade cleaning solutions in line with industry standards.

  • If you have allergies or require the use of specific products (e.g. pet-safe or wool-safe), you must inform us at the time of booking.

  • All cleaning products are used at the technician's discretion to ensure safety and effectiveness.

10. Damage Reporting & Claims

  • Any concerns or potential damage must be reported to RexClean in writing within 24 hours of the service.

  • Claims made after this period may not be considered.

  • RexClean will investigate any claims fairly but is not obliged to compensate beyond the original service fee.

11. Photographic Evidence

  • We may take before/after photos of work areas for training, insurance, or promotional purposes.

  • No identifiable customer data or property details will be disclosed without permission.

  • You may opt out of photo use for marketing purposes by notifying us in writing.

12. Force Majeure

RexClean will not be liable for delays or failure to provide services caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to weather events, illness, equipment failure, or transport disruption.

13. Amendments & Updates

These Terms & Conditions may be updated periodically. The latest version will always be available on our website and will apply to all future bookings.

14. Refunds & Re-Cleans

RexClean is a service-based business, and as such, we do not offer refunds once a service has been completed, unless required by law.

If you are not satisfied with the result of the service:

  • You must notify us in writing within 24 hours of completion.

  • If we determine the concern is valid and relates to service quality (not pre-existing damage, limitations of material, or stain resilience), we may at our sole discretion:

  • Offer a free re-clean of the affected area, or Provide a partial or full refund, up to the value of the original service.

We reserve the right to inspect the issue before offering any remedial action.

No refunds or re-cleans will be offered where:

  • The issue was pre-existing or not disclosed in advance

  • The material or fabric is unsuitable for further treatment

  • The service result was within expected performance based on condition and type
